To help mitigate cost, it is recommended that students use both the C150 and C172 in their training especially for solo time building portion of the course. When it comes time for the instrument portion of the training, much of it must be completed in the C172 for the radio equipment it holds.
The ground school program required by Transport Canada prescribes a minimum of 45 hours of classroom time. Wetaskiwin Air Services ground school is more in depth and is 60 hours of instruction.
Wetaskiwin Air Services offers employment whenever possible to the graduates of our Commercial Pilot Program.
